The City of Superior has prioritized housing as one of the focuses of the current administration as outlined in the Comprehensive Housing Needs Analysis completed in September 2015.  Superior has some of the oldest housing stock in the state of Wisconsin with over 40% of homes more than 80 years old.    Affordable, single-family home construction is one area the City is falling behind, and we are hoping to foster the development of this product by offering buildable lots at no cost.

Buildable land within the City can be difficult to come by but we have several city-owned infill lots available throughout town that are suitable for new single-family homes and some multi-family construction.  

This program has been developed with the intent of reducing some of the cost that goes in to new development, to foster owner-occupied housing development, and to incentivize infill housing construction within the city.
