Holiday Pickup Schedules

Holiday Schedules will vary annually for pickup. Please see below for the annual holiday schedule changes for Garbage and Recycling pickups. 

Please refer to the schedules below. Failure to place the garbage out for pickup by 7:00am on the appropriate pickup day for holiday weeks will result in the garbage not being collected for the week. Any questions can be directed to the street department.

Holidays that fall at the end of a work week will result in an early pickup that week. Holidays that fall at the beginning of a work week should be placed out as normally scheduled as indicated below.

 Trash schedule accelerated, place trash out one day ahead of scheduled pick up. Be aware there may be delays.
Martin Luther King Jr. Day
 Monday January 17th, 2022
 Monday pick up place out on Tuesday, all other days place out scheduled  day of pick up. Be aware there may be delays.
Spring Holiday
 Friday April 15th, 2022
 Trash schedule accelerated, place trash out one day ahead of scheduled pick up. Be aware there may be delays.
Memorial Day
 Monday May 30th, 2022
 Monday pick up place out on Tuesday, all other days place out scheduled  day of pick up. Be aware there may be delays.
Independence Day
 Monday July 4th, 2022
 Monday pick up place out on Tuesday, all other days place out scheduled  day of pick up. Be aware there may be delays.
Labor Day
 Monday September 5th, 2022
 Monday pick up place out on Tuesday, all other days place out scheduled  day of pick up. Be aware there may be delays.
Veterans Day
 Friday November 11th, 2022
 Trash schedule accelerated, place trash out one day ahead of scheduled pick up. Be aware there may be delays.
Thanksgiving Thursday November 24th & Friday November 25th, 2022
 Monday pick up will be Monday, all others place trash out two days ahead of scheduled pick up day. Be aware there may be delays.
Christmas Friday December 23rd & Monday December 26th, 2022
 Week of Dec 18th: Trash schedule accelerated, place trash out one day ahead of scheduled pick up.
Week of Dec 25th: Monday pick up place out on Tuesday, all other days place out scheduled  day of pick up. Be aware there may be delays.
New Year's Day
 Monday January 2nd, 2023
 Monday pick up place out on Tuesday, all other days place out scheduled  day of pick up. Be aware there may be delays.

Recycling Holiday Changes

Hartel's Holiday changes can be found on their website on the Holiday Pickup page. Schedules are modified for recycling pick up for the weeks of Memorial day, Labor Day, Independence Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's Day. Questions can be directed to them at (218) 729-5446.
