July 11, 2018, 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM @ Lake Superior Estuarium
The City of Superior and Douglas County are beginning a planning process to address water quality in watersheds of Western Douglas County, including the Nemadji, Black, and St. Louis River Watersheds. Join us at this public open house to ask questions about the process, the current state of the watersheds, and find out how you can be involved!
About Nine Key Element Plans: Watershed plans consistent with EPA's Nine Key Elements provide a framework for improving water quality in a holistic manner within a geographic watershed. The nine elements help assess the contributing causes and sources of non-point source pollution, involve key stakeholders and prioritize restoration and protection strategies to address water quality problems.
